Emilia Sanabria is a French-Colombian anthropologist trained in the United Kingdom (PhD and MPhil in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge, BSc in History and Philosophy of Science from University College London).

Silvia Mesturini Cappo has a BA degree in social sciences from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, a master’s degree in social science of religion from the Ecole Pratique d’Hautes Etudes of Paris (EPHE-Sorbonne), and a PhD in anthropology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, obtained in 2010.

Piera Talin is realizing her PhD in anthropology via a Joint PhD Program between the EHESS (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales) and the Amsterdam Institute for Social Sciences Research (AISSR) at the University of Amsterdam. She is a full-time member of the Healing Encounters project.

Pietro de Pieri Benedito has a Master’s (2013) and PhD (2019) in Sociology from the Brazilian UFSCar (Universidade Federal de São Carlos).

Isabel Santana de Rose is a Brazilian anthropologist and a researcher in the field of ayahuasca religions for over twenty years.

Aniara Rodado is a Colombian choreographer, artist and researcher completing her PhD dissertation in science and performative studies at the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris.

Denis Chartier is an environmental geographer and political ecologist, currently Professor of Geography at Université Paris Cité.

José Lopez Sanchez is the descendant of a reputed lineage of Shipibo ayahuasqueros and ayahuasqueras. He began his apprenticeship at the age of 7 with his paternal grandfather, a healer recognized as Meraya in their community (Roboaya, Ucayali, Peru).

Ibã Dua Bake Huni Kuin is from the Jordão region of Acre, in Brazil, and is a Txana (master of sacred songs) in the tradition of the Huni Kuin people.

Luís Fernando Tófoli, Ph.D., is Professor of Psychiatry at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil where he is a member of the Medical Sciences/Mental Health and Collective Health at UNICAMP graduate programs.

Anita Hardon is Full Professor in the Anthropology department at the University of Amsterdam, former Scientific Director for the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR), and current invited fellow of the Netherlands Royal Academy of Science (KNAW).
